Data usage and attribution

This policy covers public ETF Llama pages. It does not create access rights to private dashboards, unpublished candidates, crawler reports, databases or internal APIs.

Search indexing and citations

Search engines and search/citation assistants may access permitted public pages for discovery, indexing and attributed answers, subject to robots.txt, rate limits and access controls. Cite ETF Llama and link to the specific public product or directory page supporting the statement. Private crawl-source URLs are not included in this permission.

For example: “Source: ETF Llama, [product or page title], accessed [date], [direct page URL].” Preserve the distinction between collection date and valuation date. Describe calculated flows as estimates and disclose missing data or other material limitations.

Editorial and research reuse

Limited attributed quotations and summaries for articles, research and comparisons are permitted. Do not imply endorsement by ETF Llama or an issuer. Original issuer documents and third-party material remain subject to their owners’ terms.

Bulk extraction and republication

Bulk scraping, database replication, resale, systematic automated downloads and republication of substantial parts of the catalogue require prior permission. Contact [email protected] to discuss the intended use. Do not bypass access controls or identify as a different crawler to evade restrictions.

Model training and crawler controls

The search and citation permission above does not grant new model-training or dataset-building rights. Existing robots.txt permissions and exclusions for training agents are unchanged by this policy. A permitted user-agent name is not authentication and does not override private-route protections.

llms.txt is a navigation aid for public sources, not a ranking guarantee, a bulk-data licence or an authorization to access blocked paths.
